Beachwood Place bags region’s first Container Store

Northeast Ohio will gain its first outlet of The Container Store (NYSE: TCS) this summer when the chain that specializes in products organizing everything from kitchens and garages to offices sets up shop in Beachwood.

The store will carry more than 11,000 products in 25,000 square feet of selling space, the Coppell, Texas-based company announced Thursday, Feb. 9. The store will be in the LaPlace wing of Beachwood Place, near the corner of Cedar and Richmond roads.

Although the company’s news release did not specify an opening date, its website location finder said the Beachwood store may have a tentative opening on June 10. It already operates stores in Cincinnati and Columbus.
