Meijer seeking 900 workers for jobs in new stores in Avon, Mentor, Stow

Meijer Stores LP has begun hiring more than 900 workers for its new stores in Avon, Mentor and Stow.
On Jan. 9, the company announced its online job portal is open for applicants.
The three stores are under construction now and will open in spring, expanding Meijer’s presence in northern Ohio.
“Foundations are set, floors are poured and the walls are up at each of our new northeast Ohio stores,” said Regional Vice President Tom Wilson. “So every day, we’re a little bit closer to opening our first three locations in Greater Cleveland.
